Choose where the toothpaste will live before comparing how much comes in the box. Atomy’s Korean Toothpaste+ product information shows both a 200 g tube in a pack of five and a 50 g tube in a pack of four. The same official page describes both formats, even though its order listing is for the larger pack.
| Comparison | Larger format | Smaller format |
|---|---|---|
| Toothpaste per tube | 200 g | 50 g |
| Tubes in the described pack | 5 | 4 |
| Total toothpaste | 1,000 g | 200 g |
| A practical place to use it | A bathroom where it stays | An office drawer or travel pouch |
The larger pack contains five times as much toothpaste overall. That calculation does not establish which pack is better value: you would also need the current price of each orderable format, and a realistic use for the quantity.
One bathroom does not need five open tubes
If you share one bathroom, keep the tube being used near the sink and the unopened replacements in a separate storage space. With two bathrooms, allocate products to the places people actually use.
This is an inventory arrangement, not a way to extend the product’s expiry date. It helps answer a simple question before reordering: are you running out, or is another unopened tube already in the cupboard?
A travel pouch needs a fit check
A smaller tube reduces the amount you carry, but the number on its label does not tell you its exact length or cap shape. Check that it fits beside your toothbrush and that the cap will not be pressed open by other items.
An office tube and a tube carried every day also serve different needs. Something left in a drawer does not have the same space constraint as a small overnight bag. If you already own a suitable toothbrush and pouch, topping up toothpaste may be all you need.
Avoid assigning a fixed number of days to a 50 g tube. The amount used, brushing frequency and number of users change when it runs out. Your own experience with a comparable tube is more useful than an invented universal duration.
