There is no single purchase rule established by the sources here for every Atomy account. One clear example is Atomy’s June 11, 2024 Global Membership notice: it says the global members covered by that notice are not automatically withdrawn because they have no sales history. It distinguishes them from members of operating branches.
That is an answer about the named programme and dated notice, not a current status check on your own account.
What the published examples say
| Source | What it explains | Scope to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Global Membership notice, June 11, 2024 | No inactivity-based automatic withdrawal for the global members described | The notice concerns that global programme, not every regional account |
| US Member Agreement, section 6.01 | Distinguishes members without purchases from members with purchases; the latter passage describes a two-calendar-year extension from a purchase | US agreement text, subject to the applicable account and policy |
| General terms lower on the US terms page | Describes a twelve-month extension linked to a purchase with PV | A different passage on the same page; do not silently treat it as identical to section 6.01 |
The global notice and US terms page were rechecked September 7, 2026. The different US passages are a reason to ask which provision governs the account, not to select the longer period yourself.
Match the question to your account
Start with the region and membership category shown in your official account. Global consumer membership and a US Distributor account are not interchangeable categories.
If the relevant terms describe a qualifying purchase, identify which purchase and date the account records. Login, payment and delivery dates can differ. A calendar reminder should use the date defined by the applicable rule, not simply the last day you visited the website.
A question you can send to support
“I have a [membership type] account in [region]. Which membership-maintenance provision applies to it? Please confirm the date the period starts, the activity that extends it, and where I can see the current expiry or maintenance status. I found different extension periods in [page/section]. Which one applies?”
For a regional contact, use Global Regions. Keep the answer and its date with the policy link. You do not need to place an unwanted order merely because a general social-media message says all members must buy annually.
Source note
Global notice and US terms rechecked September 7, 2026. The two US passages are reported as published, not reconciled into an individual eligibility ruling. Regional directory reference originally checked September 6, 2026.
