A set can have a lower price than buying all of its components separately and still be the more expensive choice for your needs. The missing question is whether you would actually use every component. Compare the purchase you need with the purchase being offered.
You can do this with a calculator and two short lists. No sales target or PV target belongs in the first calculation: it is a comparison of products and spending.
Write a need list before a bundle list
Start with the items you intended to replace. Include the quantity you reasonably expect to use, without changing label directions to finish a product faster. Next, copy the offered set’s actual contents from the local listing.
Mark each component as needed now, potentially useful later, or not wanted. “Potentially useful” is not the same as a saving today. You may already have an unopened item serving that purpose, or you may decide later that you do not want the extra product at all.
Check sizes carefully. Two bottles with similar photographs can contain different quantities, and a travel-size component is not equivalent to a full-size single product.
Use unit prices only for comparable items
Here is an invented arithmetic example, not an Atomy offer. A 100 mL item priced at $20 costs $0.20 per mL. A comparable 150 mL version priced at $27 costs $0.18 per mL. The larger version has a lower unit price, but it still requires $7 more at checkout.
That comparison is meaningful only if the products are genuinely comparable for your intended purchase. Do not divide the price of a mixed cleanser-and-cream set by the combined volume and present the result as if every millilitre served the same purpose.
Use one unit consistently. If a listing gives grams and another gives millilitres, do not assume a conversion without appropriate product information. When the items differ substantially, a simple contents-and-cost comparison is more honest than a precise-looking but misleading unit price.
Compare the baskets you would actually buy
Construct one basket with the necessary singles and another with the proposed set. Record the final displayed charges for each, including delivery and other applicable costs. Do not add hypothetical savings on items you would never have ordered separately.
For example, a set costing $70 does not save you money against a $40 single-item purchase merely because all its components would cost $90 individually. If only the $40 item is needed, the set adds $30 to the immediate outlay. These figures are another illustration, not current store prices.
The second example can be recorded without counting unwanted items as savings:

If the single is all you need, the relevant difference is $70 − $40 = $30. Prices are fictional and the comparison must use the same treatment of delivery and tax.
Check storage and return implications
Extra quantity needs a place and a realistic use plan. The FDA’s cosmetic shelf-life guidance explains that usable life depends on factors including the product and its storage and use. Do not invent a fixed safe period for every unopened cosmetic.
Also read the regional set-return conditions before opening components. The US example listing shows why a set deserves its own terms check rather than an assumption that any unused component can be returned separately.
Choose the option whose useful contents and actual cost fit your plan. The best outcome of a comparison may be one single item, a suitable set, or no order yet.
